Granny'S 60 Minute Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. very warm milk
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 c. plain flour
1 pkg. yeast
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat milk.
Sprinkle yeast over top of warm, not hot, milk and allow to dissolve.
Add shortening, eggs, sugar, salt and flour. Mix well.
Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
Punch down and let rise another 15 minutes.
Shape into rolls and place in greased pan. Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until rolls are brown.
Brush tops with butter.
