Patty'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken broth or 4 c. water 4 bouillon cubes
    8 medium potatoes
    4 medium carrots
    1 tsp. parsley, chopped
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    sprig parsley (garnish)
Preparation
    If using bouillon cubes, prepare as directed on package.
    Dice potatoes and carrots; add to broth.
    Add salt and pepper, if desired.
    Boil 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Add chopped parsley and crushed red pepper.
    Using a mixer, blend for 1 minute.
    Serve with a parsley garnish.
