Mushroom And Nut Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
    1/4 c. hazelnuts, toasted
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    salt and pepper
    toasted sesame seed (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
    Add mushrooms, onion and garlic.
    Saute until most of liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat.
    Coarsely chop almonds and hazelnuts; remove 2 tablespoons and set aside.
    Continue chopping slowly adding oil until mixture is blended.
    Add with seasonings to mushroom mixture and blend thoroughly; stir in remaining 2 tablespoons nuts.
    Mold into loaf and sprinkle with sesame seed.
    Serve with assorted crackers.
