Ingredients

1 qt. blackberries, washed and drained
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. butter
whipped topping
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and 1 cup berries in saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add rest of berries and butter.
Mix well and cool.
Just before serving, pour into baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream.
