Quickie Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    7 c. unpeeled cucumbers (thin)
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Boil together sugar and vinegar; set aside to cool.
    Mix cucumbers with all other ingredients and then add to sugar and vinegar.
    Put in refrigerator and serve after 2 hours.
