Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (11 oz.) pkg. hash brown potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    12 oz. sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Put potatoes in 1 1/2 to 2-quart ovenproof casserole with 1 tablespoon oil.
    Mix other ingredients, except corn flakes, and pour over potatoes.
    Bake 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Remove and sprinkle top with corn flakes.
    Dot with butter, bake an additional 15 minutes.
