Vegetable Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans tomatoes
    1 small onion
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    4 sliced carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped peppers
    5 tsp. chili powder
    1 can red kidney beans
    2 tsp. cumin
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients; bring to a boil, then simmer for 45 minutes.
