Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour, sifted
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    6 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Grease and flour large angel food cake pan.
    Separate eggs in different bowls.
    Sift flour and measure.
    Add baking soda and sift 2 more times.
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time and beat after each addition.
    Add sour cream and beat also.
    Add flour and baking soda mixture to the creamed mixture.
    Mix well.
    Beat the egg whites until stiff.
    Fold the beaten egg whites into the mixture.
    Pour into angel food pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
