Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. margarine
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream sugar and softened margarine.
    Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
    Mix flour, cream of tartar, soda and pecans.
    Add to sugar-egg mixture.
    Mix until blended.
    Roll into rolls about 1 1/2-inch in diameter and place and wrap in wax paper or foil.
    Put in the refrigerator at least 4 hours or may be kept in freezer and baked when you want.
    Cut 1/4-inch thick slices and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes in a 425\u00b0 oven.
