Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. butter
    2 cans whole kernel corn or peas or 1 each, drained
    10 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 regular size jar Ragu sauce
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook ground beef; season to taste.
    Drain.
    Add onion and sauces; simmer for 10 minutes, then add butter.
    Mash boiled potatoes, adding butter, salt, pepper and milk to taste.
    Add cans of vegetables.
    Put hamburger mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, then add layer of vegetables.
    Spread mashed potatoes on top, then grated cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
