Lemon Filling For Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. boiling water
juice of 1 lemon
small amount lemon rind, grated
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. butter
2 egg yolks
Preparation

Mix cornstarch and sugar thoroughly.
Pour boiling water over mixture; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add butter, lemon juice and rind.
Pour this
mixture over beaten eggs.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Add meringue.
