Mock Whipped Cream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter (low-fat)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat butter or margarine and sugar for 6 minutes. Boil milk, water and cornstarch until it makes a thick paste (cool).
    Pour over butter mixture and beat at least 6 minutes.
    Add vanilla. This is good on any cake.
