Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add molasses and egg.
    Beat well. Add dry ingredients.
    Form into balls (approximately 1/2 teaspoon and roll in hands) and dip in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
