Sweet And Sour Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. baby back ribs
    2 to 3 cloves diced garlic
    3/4 c. soy sauce
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 (2-inch) piece ginger (unpeeled), sliced
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, but cornstarch, in a large casserole dish and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour covered. Let cool.
    Skim off fat.
    Add cornstarch to thicken.
    Can be garnished with pineapple chunks.
