Yams Hawaiian Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (1 lb. 2 oz. each) cans drained yams
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
Preparation

Slice yams into 1/2-inch thick pieces (or may be mashed). Combine with pineapple, butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Microwave on High 4 minutes. Stir. Sprinkle top with pecans and brown sugar. Microwave on High 2 to 4 minutes or until dish is hot and topping is melted.
