Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar well.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Fold in bananas and chopped pecans.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
