Butter Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Butter baking sheet.
    Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat.
    Add sugar; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Stir in water and corn syrup.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 290\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
