Caramelized Cake Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 purchased 7-inch angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

In saucepan, combine butter and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Bring to boil and cook until syrup reaches soft ball stage (234\u00b0 to 240\u00b0).
Remove from heat.
Using tongs, dip cake cubes in syrup; roll in pecans.
Place on waxed paper to cool.
