Pretzel Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pretzels
    1 stick butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar, divided
    1 small carton Cool Whip
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Melt butter in square pan.
    Add pretzels and 1/2 cup sugar and press to bottom of pan.
    Mix Cool Whip, 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese and spread into pan.
    Cook juice, 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch, just to heat up.
    Add pineapple and spread on top. Refrigerate.
