Dill Pickles To Can - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salt
    1 qt. vinegar
    3 qt. water
Preparation
    Boil together 10 minutes.
    Wash pickles.
    Let stand in salt water 10 minutes.
    Fill each can with dill seed and grape leaves. (I usually use two; I use a whole stem top of dill seed.)
    Put pickles in cans.
    Pour hot vinegar mixture over pickles.
    Put a small piece or alum in each can and a small chunk of garlic if you like.
