Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cocoa
    3/4 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (10 oz.) bottle red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cocoa, oil and eggs.
    Blend well.
    Add red coloring, buttermilk, vinegar and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Add 1 cup flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
    Mix well.
    Add last cup of flour and mix for about 2 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until cake springs back.
    Combine milk and sugar.
    Pour over hot cake.
    Cool before frosting with the Red Velvet Cream Cheese Frosting.
