Rhubarb Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. rhubarb, diced
    4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 (6 oz.) strawberry gelatin
Preparation
    Combine rhubarb, salt and sugar; let stand in cool place overnight.
    Boil mixture for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin, mixing well, until gelatin is dissolved.
    Pour into jars and seal with paraffin.
