Baked Ham, Grits And Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (1 oz.) packets Quaker instant white hominy grits with imitation ham bits artificial flavor
    2 c. boiling water
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Prepare ham flavored grits according to package directions, using the 2 cups of water.
    Stir in 1 tablespoon of butter.
    Pour grits mixture into ungreased 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish. Crack each egg and place on top of grits, spacing about 2 inches apart.
    Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
    Pour melted butter over eggs and sprinkle with pepper.
    Bake, uncovered, in preheated moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Serve immediately.
