Roast Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. chuck roast (with bone) or 6 lb. chuck roast (without bone)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Place meat in a 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pour the tomato juice over top and add water to barely cover beef.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 3 hours. Use the juice of baked beef and thicken for a gravy.
