Helenann'S Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 strips bacon
3 large onions, sliced
3/4 c. brown sugar (heaping)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. vinegar
1 large can pork and beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can lima beans
2 cans butter beans
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp.
Remove from skillet.
Add sliced onions and saute until translucent.
Add brown sugar, mustard and vinegar and simmer for 15 minutes.
Drain all the beans and add to mixture.
Mix.
Put in casserole; crumble bacon on top.
Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
You may adjust sweetness or tartness to taste by adding more sugar or vinegar.
