Pork Chop Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4-6 pork chops
    2 1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. uncooked rice
    cooking oil
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 envelope onion soup mix
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper.
    Brown on both sides in hot oil.
    Remove chops.
    Add onion soup mix and water to pan drippings; bring to a boil.
    Place rice and green pepper in a shallow casserole dish.
    Top with chops.
    Pour soup mixture over chops, cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
