Never Fail Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 egg whites
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water.
    Stir into egg whites that have been beaten stiff.
    Add shortening, powdered sugar and flavoring.
    Beat with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
