Ingredients

2 qt. milk, scalded
8 or 9 eggs
pinch of salt
1/2 pt. cream
3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. Pet milk (large can)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs, sugar, flour and salt with mixer and add to scalded milk in double boiler.
Cook until creamy texture.
Remove from heat and add Pet milk.
Let cool.
(Best to refrigerate overnight.)
Add pint of cream and vanilla just before freezing. Makes 1 gallon.
