1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large can chocolate syrup

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs.
Beat one at a time. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with syrup.
Add vanilla.
Mix well.
Bake in sheet pan, greased and floured.
