Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and cooled
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
    9-inch unbaked deep-dish pie shell
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. dark Karo
    1 1/2 c. broken pecan meats
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar and syrup together for 2 or 3 minutes. Beat eggs slightly; pour slowly into the hot syrup. Add butter, vanilla and pecan meats. Turn into raw pie shell and bake in moderate oven about 45 minutes or until set.
