Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 c. water
2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients in a
large
saucepan; stir well. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Then cook to soft ball stage (about 232\u00b0).
Remove from
heat; add pecans, stirring until
well
coated.
Spread pecans
on waxed
paper and separate nuts with
a
fork.
Let cool.
Yields 2 cups.
