Creamed Sugar Snap Peas And Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. carrots, thinly sliced
1/4 lb. pearl onions, peeled
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. fresh sugar snap peas, trimmed
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Add sugar snap peas; cook, covered, 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Drain and set aside.
Add whipping cream to sauce and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes.
Stir in vegetables, 1/2 teaspoon salt and remaining ingredients.
Cook until thoroughly heated.
Yield:
4 servings.
