Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add egg yolks one at a time and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Make 4 layers and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
