Hungarian Gulyas(Ground Beef Version) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef or chuck
    2 large potatoes, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 c. tomatoes or tomato sauce, mixed with 1/2 c. water
    garlic salt to suit taste (optional)
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Grease casserole.
    Make a layer (use 1/2 of all ingredients) of potatoes, onion, beef, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Repeat as above ending with tomatoes on top layer.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until potatoes are done.
    Serves 4.
