Can'T Fail Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed firmly
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix well the flour and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
    With fingers, work in 1/2 cup butter until dough begins to hold together.
    Press in bottom of a greased 9-inch square pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
