Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 pkg. yeast
2 eggs
7 to 8 c. flour

Preparation

Mix water, sugar, salt and shortening together and cool to lukewarm.
Soften yeast in like warm water and stir in first mixture.
Add eggs, stir in 4 cups of flour.
Beat until smooth and add rest of flour until it makes a fairly stiff dough.
Grease bread loaf and let rise, covered.
