Gooey Butter Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. cake mix, yellow
1 stick butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
4 tsp. powdered sugar

Preparation

Melt butter and mix with cake and 2 eggs; mix by hand.
Press into lightly greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Next, soften or melt cream cheese and mix eggs and powdered sugar.
Pour on top (even) of first mixture, then sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
Take the 4 teaspoons of powdered sugar out of the box before adding it to the cream cheese and eggs.
