Upside-Down Chocolate Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    2/3 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1/2 c. pecans (optional)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk, shortening and vanilla. Mix only until smooth. Add pecans. Put in greased shallow 1-quart baking dish.
    Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
