Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/4 lb. ground pork
    1 c. cracker crumbs or meal
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can consomme
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix beef and pork thoroughly.
    Saute onions.
    Mix with meat and other ingredients.
    Work mixture 3 minutes.
    Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
    Roll into small balls and saute in hot fat until brown. Add consomme plus 1 can water.
    Cook slowly.
    Thicken gravy before serving.
