Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. sliced celery
1 medium bell pepper, cut in strips
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. oil
1 can chicken broth
1 can tomato sauce
3/4 c. water
1 c. chopped cooked chicken
3/4 c. uncooked rice
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Cook ham, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in oil in large skillet until onion is soft.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover.
Simmer 40 minutes, stirring once or twice.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
