Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    6 to 7 apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat together butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately to butter mixture.
    Spread batter on a cookie sheet with raised edges or a jelly roll pan.
    Place apples on batter in rows.
    Melt 1/2 stick of butter and pour over apples.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle on apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
