Homemade Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. plain flour
    dash of salt
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    box vanilla wafers
    5 to 6 bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt in double boiler.
    Mix in 1 whole egg and 3 egg yolks.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook, uncovered, over boiling water.
    Stir constantly until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Spread small amount on bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover with wafers and bananas.
    Pour 1/3 custard and alternate to make three layers.
