Fruit Cake With Starter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. starter
1 (17 oz.) can sliced peaches with juice
2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix and stir once a day for 10 days. On 10th day, add 2 1/2 cups sugar and 1 (No. 2) can pineapple with juice (I use chunks). Stir once a day for 10 days.
On 20th day, add 2 1/2 cups sugar, 1 (17 ounce) can fruit cocktail with juice and 1 cup sliced maraschino cherries.
On 30th day, drain liquid from fruit and divide into 4 or 5 jars, 1 1/2 cups each.
Divide fruit into 3 thirds.
This makes 3 cakes.
