Custard Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix sugar and shortening, then beat in eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients and milk.
    Beat at medium speed of mixer for 5 minutes.
    Bake 30 or 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
