Icicle Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    2 c. lime
    7 lb. cucumbers
    3 qt. white vinegar
    4 lb. sugar (8 c.)
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 to 1 box pickling spice
Preparation
    Wash and cut unpeeled cucumbers into 1/2-inch slices.
    Mix water and lime and put in cucumbers to soak overnight.
