Chili Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. raw rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce or 1 (15 oz.) can
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin seed
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Shape into 16 to 20 balls.
    Brown on all sides in hot butter or margarine.
    Add remaining ingredients, bring to boil.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
