Rosamarina Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cans pineapple chunks (20 oz.)
    2 small cans mandarin oranges
    1 large jar cherries
    2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip
    1 lb. box rosamarina macaroni (Gioia)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, eggs, flour, salt and juice from pineapple and oranges in saucepan.
    Cook until thick.
    Mixture will be like sauce, not thick like pudding.
    While sauce is cooking, cook macaroni.
    Drain and rinse well.
    Cool the sauce; add macaroni. Mix well in large bowl.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, add pineapple, oranges, cherries (drained) and Cool Whip.
    Mix well.
