Creole Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon, diced
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1 can (16 oz.) Del Monte peeled tomatoes
1 can (16 oz.) Del Monte Blue Lake cut green beans, drained
Preparation

Cook bacon and remove.
Saute onions and green peppers in bacon grease.
Pour juice from tomatoes into onions and peppers.
Then add flour, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, pepper and mustard.
Stir until it becomes thick.
Then add green beans to mixture.
Cook until beans are done.
Now, pour into a casserole dish.
Top with bacon.
Before serving, you can reheat it in the microwave for about 8 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
