Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded medium
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped very fine
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 (2 oz.) can pimento, chopped fine (optional)
Preparation

Combine cabbage, onion and pepper in large bowl.
Sprinkle salt over top.
Pour boiling water over mixture.
Let stand at room temperature for one hour.
Drain in strainer.
Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, celery seed and mustard seed.
Add to cabbage mixture and refrigerate.
