Raisin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
2 tsp. dry yeast
1/2 c. plus 1 tsp. sugar
7 c. flour
3 medium eggs
1/2 c. butter (softened)
1 Tbsp. salt
grated zest of 1 lemon (yellow part of rind only)
2 c. raisins
Preparation

Warm milk in
a
saucepan to 70\u00b0 (lukewarm).
Add yeast and allow to
dissolve,
then
add sugar, mixing well.
Slowly mix in flour followed by eggs, butter, salt and lemon zest.
